To break the rectangular frame, the table legs are shaped to form a space frame. Diagonal steel rods not only make an interesting form for a frame but also serve as a bracing system for the table.
I thought of a design that would embody the beauty of plywood. With the Grasshopper algorithm, a wavy surface is created for the bottom of the table. After milling by CNC machines, the underside of the table has a wave effect and exposes the plywood layers in a subtle way.
